Sharing a finished Xmas gift!

Hello Hookers:

How is everyone? Well my fingers and wrist are a bit sore/achy but, I just can't put the hook down! I thought I would share one of my finished x-mas gifts.

The neck warmer is made with Caron 1pd, white, J hook. I bought the pattern from Alessandra and you can find it here. I did however, adapt it bit by using a shell stitch that required 5 dc in ea. stitch, skipped a stitch and then 1 sc and then 5 dc in the next stitch to make the shell. Did that make sense ..well hey, I am not a pattern writter, it is too confusing to me, lucky I can read one and believe me that too a long time and I still can get confused ....lol

Fingerless Mittens, this is another pattern that adapted, what can I say I get bored. Lionbrand microspun white, h hook.

White Slouchy Hat, Rachel Choi Pattern, using lion brand Microspun white with J hook.
Thanks for stopping by!

My Fingers are killing Me..........

Hookers:

I am up to my eyeballs in yarn ........WIP's all through the house .......and I still do not think I will get everything done that I want to give for xmas presents! Hmmm ??? Wonder if I could teach myself to crochet with my toes? Tried to talk the old man into learning but he would have no part of it! He simply laughed aloud at me!

I would offer you a seat but my stash is in the way!

Finished Project and Update!

Hello Hookers:

I hope this post finds you all with your forks out of hand and your hooks back in hand. I image that you all are racing against the Christmas Clock in order to finish gifts that you will be giving for x-mas presents.

This is a neck warmer that I made for my friend Jacki and a pattern that I bought from Alessandra, fellow hooker over at http://alessandrahayden.blogspot.com/

I wish the picture was better but this is the best it gets with the lighting in our house not to mention that I am hardly a photographer.

I also made her a black slouchy hat and a pair of matching fingerless gloves that I crocheted that you can unfold to make them longer and cover fingers.

I am now working on an Awareness Blanket and I hope to finished a few more so, I can give them to children with Genito-urinary syndromes this Christmas.

I am also working on some extra long white fingerless gloves to match a white slouchy I made for my daughter.

Tom and I had a great Thanksgiving, we spent it in San Antonio, site seeing.
